SNCR
NGC responds actively to NOx emission reduction, and has successfully finished several SNCR EPC projects based on our extensive experience in cement project. Reasonable injection position and good ammonia atomization assure the maximization of NOx denitration efficiency and the minimization of NH3 escape in these projects.
SNCR is selective non-catalytic reduction, which means that spraying reducing agents such as ammonia or urea into the appropriate temperature zone suitable for denitration reaction to reduce NOx in kiln gas to harmless nitrogen and water without catalytic agent.
Commonly, we spray reducing agents into the calciner or C5 pipe to reduce NOx in exhaust gas. The reduction zone shall be set in effective high temperature zone due to the absence of catalytic agent in SNCR system. The temperature of reduction spray zone should be 850~1100℃. The NH3 produced in high temperature zone will react with NOX in kiln gas and produce N2 and water. NOx can reduce up to 50%~60%.
